David pursued a career in massage therapy to make a positive difference in peoples lives. He is a certified RMT in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) having received his diploma in Massage Therapy from the premiere school of Sutherland-Chan in 2012.
David has spent over four years as a clinical instructor with the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) and has additional training in TMJ dysfunctions (jaw pain and associated issues), cupping, and pre-natal massage.
David has worked alongside chiropractors and physiotherapists and draws and his experience with Chinese Tui-Na (deep tissue) and high-end spas to provide his clients with an extremely individualized treatment plan. This allows him to employ a variety of techniques like Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, fascial cupping, dynamic release, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy, and TMJ treatments to help each of his clients achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
David has worked with a wide variety of conditions, from back pain to motor vehicle accidents (MVAs), to workplace, sports and personal injuries. He has helped people deal with cancer, scoliosis, plantar fasciitis, stress, anxiety, depression, sleep dysfunction, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, post surgical care, and more.
David believes that massage has something for everyone, and for him there is nothing more satisfying than being in a position to provide the kind of care that makes people feel cared for.
